this has been a problem for several days, even weeks for me. i'll let the screenshot do the talking:

i just moments ago narrowed down the cause, so that happens only if i use the https protocol to
connect to the site, which is on by default in my system. the usual http://eztv.it/ works fine and
images are displayed normally then. and like i said, this hasn't always been a problem.
https://eztv.it used to work like charm and i can't figure out what i could've done to cause the
images to disappear.

does https://eztv work for the rest of you?

@cameltoe i can tell you what's wrong, but it's up to eztv admins to fix.

here we go: so, when browsing over https the site attempts to load all external images (from ezimg.ch)
via https as well. the issue is that ezimg.ch's certificate (required to identify ezimg.ch as itself when using
https) is expired. your browser, trying to be secure, can't identify ezimg.ch as valid. so, it's refusing to
load the images.

the fix is to renew their certificate and put the new one on the server. nothing you can do about it except
wait. patiently.

the site admin is aware of the issue regarding https and images not loading.
new certs are on their way.

meh. i understand that this issue isn't directly related to eztv, but i'm noticing more and more new shows
are starting, the first episode is posted, and then no others. (deadliest catch, the glades, etc)

can anyone explain why this is happening? i see the same groups posting this content on other sites, they
just don't appear on eztv?

just 2 small issues....

i was cleaning up the my page list, so that it does not show ended shows, and there were a couple of
things happening which probably are un-important in themselves, but to me were annoying...

first, as i removed ended shows, i could only remove one show at a time.... the minute i clicked on the
box, the screen changed and i had to return to the list page to remove the next ended show...

second, when i clicked on the box and the screen changed, it did not return to the list page
http://eztv.it/myshows/list/ , but it returned to the main page http://eztv.it/myshows/ .

it would be preferable to be able to remove multiple shows and when the page updates it should return the
user to the same place that it left...

as i said, minor issues...

don't know if this is an eztv site problem or an issue with opera 12 but whilst using the https address opera refuses to run it
in secure mode opera tells me:: "the server attempted to apply security measures, but failed"

so even though the address bar says https://eztv.it it's not actually running in ssl mode

so is it me or is it you and if it's me then how do i go about fixing it

oh my god.. i'm a blind and a fool. i never noticed this before. firefox gives no visible indication
that the connection is secure. when using https, firefox does say that "your connection to this site
is only partially encrypted, and does not prevent eavesdropping".

to anyone who doesn't see any images when using ssl mode, open this url
https://ezimg.ch/s/1/1/eztv-logo-small.png and accept the ssl certificate, then eztv.it should be
back to normal.

the current certificate is not sign by a known authority, so you have to accept it manually.
