i dont mind the codec or the mp4 container, its the 720p thats annoying. i dont need that quality so the file size isnt worth it. if i was concerned with hd then i would actually get an hd tv and cable premium channels. i just want **decent** quality at a relatively small file size - ~575mb for an hour or so of video. |

i watched this copy, the mkv, and the quality was great, didn't notice anything wrong with it, but mkv's i usually have to turn up the volume higher then with the avi's. but, that was a intense episode, when the new episodes with the new actor playing spartacus started i wasn't very impressed, but i am now. |

i don't get what anyone is on about. i got the mp4 version, it was great. and i'm running 5 year old hardware. either that or my brain is lagging so muhc it keeps in time with the frame rate!! tbh i didn't get the eztv rls, so i did get the rar archive from elsewhere. and there is one group on that site that take this fat rars and make them tiny mkv formats, 1 file, brilliant quality. i await the day he/she/they are the norm. we're not in usenet anymore toto. |

the spartacus s02e05 hdtv xvid-3lt0n (546 mb) is a definite 10/10 i wouldn't bother with the other since the x264 is a 0/0 since it's unplayable on any of my hardware but the xvid one is flawless |
