maybe you're "terribly wooden" upstairs yourself. i mean if i don't like a show
i stop d/loading it after the 1st episode, but i guess you can d/load 6 of them
if you're a bit too slow!

i always thought that a 3rd world country was somewhere like mozambique where
two thirds of the population die of starvation, poverty and disease. where you
also don't have the luxury of things such as television,running water and
toilet paper. until you experience how the other half live you cretin, keep
your hollow opinions to yourself. i am willing to bet you have never gone a
day without a good feed and i am not talking about what comes out of your rear
end either, cos' we all know you eat that for a living mate!

anyways this is a great aussie show, with a great cast who really relish and
get into their roles. sure, it may be a little wooden, but that makes it
characteristically aussie! it's good to see film victoria investing in some
good tv for a change.

keep the episodes coming!

i find it rather ironic that an aussie posts a negative comment in regards to
his own country ... so everyone takes the opportunity to start attacking the
us.

this thread is a good example of why i am increasingly disappointed by my
fellow australians and their unwillingness to allow others to hold an
opinion. diablo did not attack anyone personally, yet your first instincts
were to flame insults rather than begin a reasonable discussion. grow up

as for third world country?
i feel that while we are a rich country the wealth is rarley distributed
equally and our primary resources in hand with the work is readily exported
overseas or sold off for cheap as, in essence stealing the country from our
children. and if anything could be seen as third world in oz is the attitude
and our lack of human rights is comparable to other third world nations..

i think underbelly is a fairly decent show, well made for australian standards.
i preffered city homicide much more, that show looks like it came out of the
states... not a "third world country" and diablo get a life man, go over to
ethiopia and see all the people who sleep in mud made houses who cant even
afford food and then you may realise what a third world country is and live
there yourself, i think you would fit in perfectly!
